Gaming rig makes its debut at CES alongside Y27g Razer Edition monitor.

Lenovo is making a big play for the PC gaming market and the industry giant is recruiting some big names along the way. Back in November the firm announced a partnership with Razer that we were told would revolutionise gaming devices.

Fast forward a couple of months and we're beginning to see the fruits of their collective labour. At CES 2016, Lenovo's director of PC strategy, Bill Dominici, gave us an overview of the Ideacentre Y900 RE (Razer Edition) desktop and Y27g RE curved gaming monitor.

Targeting the high-end corner of the market, the Y900 RE will boast a quad-core Intel Core i7 'Skylake' processor, dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 graphics cards and a Razer Chroma keyboard and mouse included in the bundle. Chroma lighting has become integral to many of Razer's products, and Lenovo continues that theme by carrying across the illumination to its Y900 chassis and, for added immersion, to the back of the accompanying Y27g RE monitor.

Check out the video above for a closer look, but here are the pertinent details: the Y27g RE monitor will ship first in May priced from $649, with the Y900 RE desktop following in June priced from $2,299.
