EQS scored very highly with their AMD 690G mainboard recently (http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=7972&page=10&search=eqs) and this is now available for around £46 inc vat on the web

Given that this spec includes the HDMI/HDCP technology that you need to run BluRay/HD-DVD - they are definitely aiming to give users an advantage in the performance of entry-level/SFF platforms…

…and, as James Thorburn recently pointed out (http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=9432&page=4&search=barce) AMD do seem bullish about the real-world performance of Barcelona…

…so it will be interesting to see what James Smith makes of it all when he disects the new technology in the HEXUS.lab

Very good video. Interesting indeed. :)

Sounds like they have decent stuff to bring at the end of the year. :)

Sound went a bit strange though when it went to the far out camera with the view of the three of them when Nick was asking a question.

There is like a buzzing noise and it goes quiet and he sounds strange. :O_o1:
What an oaf! How to insult your host and look like an ar5e.

That aside it was interesting to hear about AMD's direction.

We will be speaking with the AMD guys on a regular basis to get a handle on how, exactly, Christmas will pan out - should be very exciting !
