I bought a motherboard from blaineoliver. The transaction encountered a slight hiccup due to NO fault of blaineoliver. The motherboard was sent first class but it failed to arrive after a week, I went to check with the neighbours and at the local delivery office and no luck. blaineoliver also checked at his local delivery office too and they informed him to put in a lost post claim. blaineoliver's communications and patience was exemplary throughout and he blaineoliver refunded my money. However, a few days later the motherboard arrived, just over two weeks since it was posted (Posted 14th Aug, received 29th Aug). The delay is most probably due to the several strikes which took place. I informed blaineoliver when the mobo arrived and sent paid him for the board again. I've not setup the board yet (managed to buy a bargain P45 board during the waiting time) but it came fully boxed, with the parts as listed in his sale thread. Overall, an excellent transaction with blaineoliver and trust well earned. Many thanks! |

There was a hiccup with the post office losing the parcel for approximatley 2 weeks, but after a period of time, i sent back payment to mithrandir and said i would wait till the correct time to claim back, luckily the post office finally got their arses in gear, and the parcel was delivered. Mithrandir was an exemplary buyer and was patient with the problem, which was of niether of ours faults. It was resolved and we are both happy at the end. :) |
