Usually very cheap and with a pretty diverse range of products to choose from. I\'ve used them several times and will probably continue simply because of their range of products and competative prices. I did have trouble with an RMA or two, in one case because I didnt specify \"refund\" in big letters on the outside of the packaging and got a replacement instead, but at the time they were so much cheaper than anyone else I wasnt expecting Gold Standard service. Recently they\'ve been listing lots of items that they\'ve zero stock of. I fear that as they grow in size their range decreases and prices will increase. |

Eclipse do some unusual budget product lines and some of their prices are very competetive. I bought some sound deadening foam packs from them for about £5 each - not the greatest stuff but cheap as chips. Same for some silicon sound-deadening fan and PSU gaskets. Cheap and cheerfull. Their website is rather poor with no obvious option on how to log out of your account. The very worst thing however is there is nowhere to specify an alternate delivery address and you don\'t know this until the order is placed. I got my items through fairly quickly but missing the PSU gasket - it wasnt very obvious from the shipping manifest that this would be coming along in another parcel later. Again, poor website gave no clues about what had shipped and when. |

I\'ve had one problem with a Crucial product and one only - I bought a second stick of 512mb PC3200 a few months after the first so I could run dual channel on my AMD64/939 system - and the second stick was singile sided while the first was double sided. But I cant really blame them for me not checking the specs hard enough! Their products are rock solid reliable and not that much more than the cheapo brands from other retailers. Ordering is fast and easy and delivery times are exceptionally fast. Unless I need super overclockable memory, I use crucial exclusively. |

Bought a motherboard which was DOA, return postage cost me £10 and the RMA took a week. The replacement wasnt sent to the delivery address I specified but to my billing address, where the delivery company handed it over to the first person they saw - who wasnt me but my theiving chav neighbours. Theft was reported to the police and the item later recovered but held for evidence. MicroDirect refused to accept any responsibilty or offer a replacement or refund and never even said sorry. This lot would have to be paying me before I used them ever again! |
