I bought 3XS system back in 2010 from Scan and recently i decided to upgrade some more ram and a new Monitor i emailed the guys at Scan and asked for advice what to get they recommended a very reasonably costed 8 gig ram upgrade and a monitor thats one of the ones suggested by guys on hexus as well. I ordered it this weekend and got it today Monday first thing in the afternoon. The monitor stand is kinda wobly but the monitor itself is great and ram installed really hassle free. Both customer service and products were great. |

Bought a range of components (SSD, CPU cooler, RAM etc) for a new build. After taking into account the free delivery for Hexus member they were by far the cheapest. Service was fantastic, you get an email at each stage of the delivery process (order recieved -> payment recieved -> order picked -> order dispached) to keep you up-to date. Will defiantly use again! Defiantly recommend! Only way I would buy from elsewhere (next time I need components) is if there is a significant price difference (which I doubt there will be). |

I bought one of Scan's systems form their 3XS range about 2 years ago. I have always been very happy with it. Recently I decided to upgrade it and dealt with Scan over the phone. I was very happy with the service that I received from them. I probably spent an hour talking to the guy from the sales team in regards to options and getting everything configured correctly. It was a genuine pleasure speaking to him and he really new his stuff. He phoned me back after a few days to let me know he'd been speaking to the engineers about it and they recommended changing the SATA backplate on the case as a new SATA3 one was now available. They even agreed to swap this out of one of their cases as they didn't have any in stock and didn't want to delay the build even further! They put it on test for over 24hours and had an issue with the bluetooth on the motherboard which they then replaced for me. Delivery and collection was via DPD who were ok but would have preferred to use Netsolve. Sadly they didn't have any drivers in my area at the time :( All in all, having got the PC back I am extremely happy with it. The build quality as superb and I even got a PM from the engineer making sure everything was ok with it and to let me know that he specially customised an Aquasuite fan profile for me as he wasn't happy with the default one!!! Scan wins hands down in the service department from all the PC manufacturers I have ever used and I will be buying from then again in the future. |

Bought just over £2000 worth of components to do my first home build from these guys and they were perfect. I had a problem with the Cyborg R.A.T 7 mouse that I bought and they replaced it ASAP. I also wasn't happy with the NZXT Phantom 410 case and they were more then happy to assist me in returning it and help me pick a new case to replace it. I can't recommend these guys enough they are very professional and were a pleasure to deal with. |

Preordered a MSI GTX 560 Frozr II. On the expected date, got no emails to say if SCAN had received it or not. Called and was told it is expected soon. Called 5 days later and was then told SCAN doesn't know when they will get it in stock.??!! Gave it another week and then I got fed up. Called up to cancel my pre-order. Had enough! |

This review is for the last component I bought, but I would say it is true for everything I bought through Scan. I did find the SSD for about £13 less on another site that I'd never heard of before, that difference was reduced to £3 after adding postage costs. For me the saving was not big enough to give up the support benefits I would get through Scan if anything went wrong. I have had very few reasons to RMA products previously and the one occasion it happened with Scan was really painless and very quick. |

Bought a 24" Dell U2412M from Scan, they were the cheapest of the companies I trust, and they have free delivery next day. I ordered over Christmas, so the monitor arrived on the 2nd working day, as advised. DPD provided a 1-hour delivery slot which they kept to as well. All in all, a great buying experience. |

Free next day delivery is brilliant. Unfortunately DPD's nearest depot is in Reading over 40 miles away so delivery times tend to be unfavourable, but they offer a good service for leaving items in a safe place. Exceptional choice and prices as always. Will use again as I have used them for the last 5 years with few problems. |
