Introduction

Throughout our coverage of NVIDIA's SLI on nForce4 recently, one company has been right behind our push with that content and it'll be cursing me for not mentioning them properly until now. SCAN International are a UK-based SI/OEM/e-tailer that HEXUS has worked with for quite some time now. SCAN has cemented itself as an SLI launch partner in this country and that set the wheels in motion for us to get a look at its early integration efforts with SLI, some time in advance of the official press kits going out. With support from NVIDIA in a couple of key areas, SCAN were able to get SLI up and running well enough for our purposes in a couple of quite excellent chassis, with build quality to match the components inside.

It's those pair of SLI systems that we've been working on for nearly the last month that we want to show off today, partly as thanks to SCAN for helping us out with the work and partly because its systems are just plain cool.

One Tumwater-based system with Xeon processors and one nForce4 SLI-based system with Athlon FX-55 that you've seen already, both under the Cobra guise and both with very fetching paint jobs. Let's take a closer look, starting with the Blue Cobra.
