IntroductionSCAN 3XS ISOTOPE
Everyone wants to be a little different, right?. After all, if you can be different from the rest and still produce the goods, you're more likely to get noticed. SCAN certainly think so, and has made a point of applying neat, individual touches to its now-established range of 3XS systems, which include a greater emphasis on catering for the needs of the enthusiast. Indeed, SCAN's motto seems to be 'built for the enthusiast by the enthusiast', a mission statement that's reflected in the use of custom cases and a focus on premium parts that squeeze that last bit of performance out of a particular setup. The 3XS systems haven't been the cheapest, sure, but they've consistently been built using parts that are recognised as being best of their respective classes. Think of the 3XS range as the U.K equivalent of someone like Alienware and you won't be too far off the mark.
SCAN has decided to continue the tradition of being a little different by announcing and releasing a new 3XS variant, named ISOTOPE. It's designed with the gamer/enthusiast/LAN merchant very much in mind. Without spilling the beans on the very first page, read on to see if this strange-looking PC can tempt you.
