Benchmarks: File Copy and NASPT
With a quad-core Intel Celeron processor and 8GB of RAM, the TS-453 Pro isn't lacking in performance. Our File Copy Test involves transferring a mixed assortment of files totalling 8.83GB from our client to the server, and the TS-453 Pro tops the chart by averaging 98.1MB/s.
What's interesting, and to be expected, is that running VMs does have an impact on performance. With our Windows 7 virtual machine up and running, we repeated the File Copy Test and witnessed a fall in transfer speed to 89.7MB/s, representing a near-10-per-cent decrease.
