The latest drives from Corsair and Samsung use cutting-edge processors that are fast in almost every regard, but there's no touching the SandForce solutions in our custom Iometer test. As we so often say, this benchmark bears little resemblance to real-world use, but, pushing it to the limit, it can demonstrate a drive's ability to cope in an extreme, worst-case scenario.
