We're glad to report that Z170 chipset BIOSes have improved over the last month or so. At launch time high-speed DDR4 support was flaky, to say the least, but now we're seeing 3,000MHz-plus speeds achieved with ease. Indeed, the final frequency from a G.Skill DDR4-3,600MHz kit is impressive from what amounts to a budget board. The final CPU speed isn't quite as fast as a couple of the competition, mind.
