Testing notes

We tested the Club3D card in both BIOS configurations and found there to be a less than one per cent difference in benchmark scores once the core-boosting red button was depressed. One reason for this is that, at default, the core speed sometimes jumps up to 925MHz anyway.

The numbers on the following pages are derived from the card running at optimum settings - 925MHz core and 5,500MHz memory. You'll note that we use a minimum resolution of 2,560x1,600 for these ultra-enthusiast cards, rising to (three-screen) 5,760x1,080. We believe that anyone contemplating such a card will want to know how it stacks up against some lofty competition when really pushed to the limit.
