3DMark 11 is the latest version of this hugely-popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.

AMD's reference Radeon HD 7770 didn't fare particularly well in the synthetic 3DMark 11 benchmark; it came out fractionally behind the cheaper, previous-generation Radeon HD 6850.

Sapphire's overclocked model is able to reverse that bit of misfortune by slotting into the chart above the Radeon HD 6850 and closer to GeForce GTX 560.
