3DMark Time Spy

Rendered at a 2,560x1,440 QHD resolution and making use of DX12 technologies such as asynchronous compute, explicit multi-adapter and multi-threading, Time Spy is a forward-looking 3DMark benchmark that hints at GPU potential in various upcoming games.

Time Spy offers some important insight. Titan Xp's full complement of 30 SM units is negated by a well-overclocked, 28-unit GTX 1080 Ti, and the custom coolers offer improved stability. With a score of 94.9, Titan Xp fails the Time Spy Stress Test. Frame-rate stability must be at least 97 per cent in order to pass the test, and it won't have escaped your attention that the three cards to fail are all equipped with the Nvidia Founders Edition cooler.
