Overclocking

Overclocking reveals that MSI has played it safe with regards to shipping frequencies. With no added voltage, we were easily able to ramp-up base and boost clocks to 1,674MHz and 1,788MHz, respectively, while the 11GB frame buffer had no qualms when asked to run at an effective 12Gbps.

This is the best overclock we've managed on any GTX 1080 Ti review sample thus far and there's clearly ample room to manoeuvre.
