Weighing in at a not inconsiderable weight of 700g without fans, Zalman's CNPS10X Flex is one of the heaviest coolers in our test, and could be the most costly as users opting not to try their luck with a passive solution will need to purchase an additional 120mm fan, or two (depending on configuration). Therefore, although CPU support is among the best, it will need to perform exceptionally well in order to garner a recommendation.

Employing a slightly minimalist design, Zalman's packaging for the CNPS10X Flex tells you exactly what you want (and indeed would need to know), and for the most part avoids making boastful claims of its theoretical performance.
