Shuttle has been well known as a specialist in the production of compact chassis for many years. Now it has launched a compact barebones PC system as part of its XPC slim category. The new Shuttle XH110G is claimed to be the first sub-3 litre PC with the facility to install a single slot PCI-E x16 multi-display graphics card (or other similar sized expansion card of your choice).

As a barebones system the Shuttle XH110G includes the chassis and pre-fitted motherboard with Intel H110 chipset, plus a bundled external 180W power adaptor. The motherboard is compatible with both Intel Kaby Lake and Skylake LGA 1151 processors with onboard Intel HD graphics (Max TDP of 65W). However this new SFF 3 litre design will likely be attractive to many due to its space for add-in PCI-E x16 expansion cards up to 208.5mm x120mm x30mm in size. On the topic of dimensions, the Shuttle XH110G measures 250(L) x 200(W) x 78.5(H)mm and is VESA mountable using the supplied bracket and screws.

Keeping things cool in the confined spaces is an active heatpipe cooling system with two 6cm fans. There are ventilation areas in the chassis cover to promote airflow through the system.

Shuttle says users can fit up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card into this barebones PC, but what other components is there capacity for? There are 2 x DDR4 SO-DIMM slots,16GB per DIMM (Max 32GB), one 2.5-inch HDD / SSD bay, with one 6.0Gb/s SATA interface, plus one M.2 2280 Type M key socket, and one M.2 2230 Type A,E Key socket. Via built-in ports there is support for HDMI + VGA port dual display, 10Mb/s,100Mb/s,1Gb/s Ethernet, 6x USB 2.0 ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports, and audio I/O from the on board Realtek ALC662 chipset. This barebones system is optionally available with a stand (PS01) and a Wi-Fi kit (WLN-M).

The slim metal Shuttle barebone PC is compatible with Windows 7 (Skylake only), Windows 10 and Linux. Shuttle suggests it is an ideal system for Multi-display Digital Signage due to its robust nature and "reliable operation in up to 50⁰C temperatures". Shuttle's marketing manager, Tom Seiffert, added that the XH110G will appeal to PC gamers with the possibility "to combine an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card with an Intel Core i7 processor and 32GB of RAM".

The Shuttle XH110G barebones PC system is said to be available immediately Europe-wide with a recommended retail price of EUR 231.00 (ex VAT).

Looks like it would make an ideal HTPC machine.
I think Shuttle are doing themselves a disservice mentioning gaming setups with this machine. It was almost certainly designed to house cards like these Matrox ones… http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/graphics_cards/c-series/

Those boards are all single-slot, PCI-E 16x boards, supporting up to 9 attached displays. In that kind of scenario, this little box would absolutely shine.
Would be nice with a Ryzen APU.
