Amid plenty of hype, Mozilla launched a final version of Firefox 3.5 just under a month ago, only to find that the release was riddled with a selection of bugs.

Earlier this week, Mozilla officially confirmed that a critical JavaScript vulnerability exists in Firefox 3.5, adding that the flaw could be exploited by attackers to execute malicious code.

To the developer's credit, a fix is now available in the form of Firefox 3.5.1 and users are being urged to upgrade. Users of Firefox 3.5 should automatically be prompted to upgrade in the next 48 hours, but those in a hurry can click on "Check for Updates" in Firefox's Help menu.

The update fixes a total of 22 bugs, seven of which are rated as critical.

Already updated, and seems as good as 3.5 in speed etc.
My favourite browser, if only for some really useful add-ons
'Riddled with bugs' is inaccurate and sensationalistic. It suggests that the release was problematic for a majority of users, which was not the case.
And google gears is broken again…

Google are not looking like they have any clue with this release of firefox.

Not sure that that's such a problem in this article as the article is advertising the fix…. anything that might scare people (even with sensationalistic reporting) to get the update is surely a good thing….
Im sticking to my 3.0.11 version for a while.
ive heard a few people say they have had flash issues with 3.5
