Most might think that RAM just needs to do its job without worrying about looks, but for those who prefer something a little more retro, check out the limited edition Union Jack modules from Crucial.

Dubbed "Dual Britannia", the limited edition kit is available in 2GB and 4GB capacities and is essentially 240-pin DDR2-800 Ballistix modules enclosed in a Union Jack heatsink.

If the cool design isn't enough to entice you, there's also a five per cent discount being applied to all orders. As a result, the 2GB kit is currently priced at £21.84 and the 4GB kit costs £43.69. Not bad at all, considering these are modules with low latencies of 4-4-4-12.

Since when did the union jack become “retro”?
I wouldn't wrap memory in a flag - would overheat :)
Suprised these weren't released by… um… “Patriot”.

Feeling patriotic? Here's a chance to finally get the Union Jack on your memory.
I know some people are into water cooling, but really, my memory is not a boat.
