The news

Widget is offering an intriguing, if rather pricey, Bluetooth folding keyboard from iGo. The £70 Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard - formerly sold under the Think Outside brand -  is said to weigh only 160g. It's reckoned to measure just 139(w) x 99(d) x 13(h) mm when folded yet open up to 251(w) x 148(d) x 13(h) mm.

The Qwerty unit has four rows of keys and is reckoned to provide 18mm key spacing horizontally and vertically and 3mm key travel - "the same as the best notebook computers".

Other benefits and features are said to include:

* Type email, memos, or surf the web "in optimum comfort"
* Carrying case & detachable PDA/phone stand included
* 100 per cent "full-size" keyboard for touch-typing
* Works with "almost all" Bluetooth-enabled devices
* Hassle-free - Bluetooth technology removes the need for wires
* User-programmable shortcut and command keys for fast access to other applications
* Rugged polycarbonate construction "for years of use"
* Rubber grip pads prevent keyboard from slipping while typing
* Sleek, "award-winning" design
