Lian Li has announced the PC-10N mid-tower chassis and its official release in Europe. This brushed aluminium chassis, available in silver or black, allows a 240mm radiator to be placed on a hinged bracket over the motherboard and implements a railing mount motherboard design. These design decisions bring "increased thermal performance and better cable management" according to the Taiwan based computer technology company. The case was previously shown off at Computex in June.

Lian Li PC-10N specifications:

  • Case Type: Mid tower chassis
  • Dimensions: (W) 210mm, (H) 473mm, (D) 498mm
  • Colour: Black or Silver
  • Front bezel Material: Aluminium, Side Panel: Aluminium, Body Material: Aluminium
  • Net Weight: 5.4 kg
  • Bays: 5.25" drive bay (External) x3, 3.5" HDD x6 / 2.5" HDD x2 (internal)
  • Expansion Slots: 8
  • Motherboard: ATX, Micro-ATX
  • Fans: System Fan (Front) 120mm Fan x2, System Fan(Top) 120mm Fan x1(Optional), System Fan(Side) 120mm Fan x2(Optional), System Fan(rear) 120mm Fan x1
  • Front panel I/O Ports: USB3.0 x 2, HD Audio
  • Maximum Compatibility: VGA Card length: 300mm, PSU length: 300mm, CPU cooler height: 155mm
  • PSU: ATX PSU (Optional)

The Lin Li PC-10N case design offers many tool-less access options, the front panel is easily removed by hand, as are the dust filters and two rubber mount suspended fans beneath this facia. The side panels are easily removed using standard thumbscrews. The left side panel has a cut-out providing airflow to your choice of either 2 x 120mm fans or a 240mm radiator which is mounted inside on a hinge mechanism to not get in the way of easy internal access.

The rails upon which you mount your motherboard have standard stand-off screw fittings for both ATX and Micro-ATX boards. The rails give easier access for cable routing and airflow beneath the board. Looking at the power supply standard cut-out and mounts, the ATX PSU is mounted slightly above the bottom vents on rubber dampeners to help reduce noise/vibration.

Hard drives are very easy to install without any tools. A user simply thumbscrews four rubber roller wheels onto the HDD, opens a gate in the HDD cage and slides the drive into position. The upper of the two drive cages is removable to allow fitting of longer and bulkier expansion cards and/or facilitate better air flow. Cards up to 300mm long fit with the cage in place, and up 430mm long with the cage removed.

Lian-Li has officially released the silver (PC-10NA) and black (PC-10NB) in Europe but US customers "will have to wait a little longer". The UK MSRP for this case is £99.90.

Very nice. Although my full ATX days are well behind me now.
No fan blowing onto the GPU is a mistake to me…. Probably aimed at water cooling, but for those that won't this is not likely to be adequate.

No, not water cooling. This is aimed at the tourists with AIO liquid coolers.

There's two blowing right over them from the front. That's plenty.
