DriveStation Media (HDVSAU3)™ enables users to maintain extensive media libraries.

London, 11 February 2016 – Buffalo Technology, the global manufacturer of storage and networking solutions, today launches the DriveStation Media (HDVSAU3)™ a media hard drive for families and home-users.

With an RRP of £69.99 for the 1 TB model, the device provides home-users with 24/7 continuous recording capabilities enabling users to maintain extensive media libraries and available capacities of up to 2 TB (RRP £89.99) and 4 TB (£109.99).

The media hard drive is compatible with TVs, TV recorders and PCs and optimised for Panasonic devices ensuring smooth streaming and playback.

Designed for convenient setup and use near TVs and within media centres, its auto power on, and off, works in sync with the attached devices promoting energy efficiency.

The HDV-SA hard drive is also factory tested for durability and high reliability, as well being specially designed to ensure the quietest operation.

The device comes with customised firmware, AV commands and error handling for Panasonic TVs recorders, and video cameras. In addition, the HDVSAU3 is standardised for USB 3.0 allowing data transfer in up to 5 Gbit/s.
