SanDisk X110 SSD Provides Advanced Flash Storage for Innovative ASUS Ultrabook

London, 6th January, 2014 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK), a global leader in flash storage solutions, today announced that the ASUS ZENBOOKTM UX301LA UltrabookTM relies on the incredibly compact SanDisk® X110 Solid State Drives (SSD) for intelligent, blazing-fast flash storage.

The new ASUS notebook boasts both an impressively slim design and high-performance, touch screen enabled computing. The Ultrabook features two very thin and light-weight M.2 2260 form-factor SanDisk X110 SSDs (offered in either 128GBor 256GB capacities) connected together in a performance-boosting RAID 0 configuration, which allows the drives to be written to simultaneously. This brings up to 512GB of powerful and responsive flash storage to the notebook, while supporting the thin and sleek look of the ASUS Ultrabook. Leveraging SanDisk's advanced flash memory architecture, the SanDisk SSDs significantly enhance the performance of the Ultrabook, enabling rapid application launching, quick transferring of data, and smooth, nimble application interaction with each press of the notebook touch-screen.

Additionally, the X110 SSDs offer automated power management, including DEVSLP capability, enabling mobile computing users to experience outstanding performance, without sacrificing battery life.
