PRESS RELEASE

(London, May, 2018), iStorage, the award-winning and trusted global leader of PIN authenticated, hardware encrypted data storage devices, is delighted to announce that their diskAshur PRO² portable HDD/SSD and diskAshur DT² desktop HDD have passed rigorous tests and are now officially certified to NATO Restricted level and included in the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue (NIACP), which provides NATO nationals, NATO civil and military bodies with a catalogue of Information Assurance (IA) products that are available for procurement to meet operational requirements.

As only cryptographic products which are developed and produced in a NATO member NATION and which are evaluated and approved in accordance with the INFOSEC Technical and Implementation Directive on Crytographic Security and Crytographic Mechanisms, by the developing nations National Communications Security Authority, are eligible to be submitted for inclusion to the NIAPC, this is an exciting development for iStorage.

Says John Michael, CEO, iStorage Limited

“This is a huge accolade for iStorage –  after successfully passing and being awarded both the NCSC CPA and NLNCSA BSPA certificates, it makes us extremely proud to have the diskAshur PRO² and diskAshur DT² listed in the NIAPC catalogue to NATO Restricted level. This a fantastic achievement and testament to the many years of research and development that iStorage has invested in developing the diskAshur PRO² and diskAshur DT², products that we believe to be the most secure PIN authenticated, hardware encrypted hard drives and solid-state drives currently available.  With FIPS 140-2 level 3 certifications underway and expected to be received soon, iStorage is uniquely positioned to reassure businesses and government organisations throughout the world of the robust level of data protection offered in our products.“

It was in March 2018 that iStorage became the first manufacturer to gain NCSC CPA and NLNCSA BSPA certifications for their diskAshur PRO² portable Hard Drives/Solid State Drives and their diskAshur DT² desktop hard drive, making them the world’s first and only NCSC CPA and NLNCSA BSPA certified hardware encrypted HDDs & SSDs.

Previously the datAshur PRO USB flash drive was certified to NATO Restricted level and now with two more products approved, this puts iStorage firmly on the list of reliable suppliers for NATO approved products.
