PRESS RELEASE

SoftMaker has updated its free office suite for Android smartphones, SoftMaker Office Mobile, to provide updated Dropbox access, new features and file compatibility with SoftMaker Office 2016 for Windows. The office suite, rich in features and offering even faster speeds, is available to download immediately.

Millions of people worldwide are using SoftMaker Office Mobile on their smartphones, allowing them to seamlessly edit office documents on the go, free of charge. SoftMaker Office Mobile is available to download on www.softmaker.com or the Google Play Store, and provides users with the word processor TextMaker Mobile, the spreadsheet application PlanMaker Mobile, and the presentation software Presentations Mobile.

All three programs offer uncompromising compatibility with the Microsoft counterparts Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SoftMaker Office Mobile opens and saves older document formats such as DOC, XLS and PPT as reliably as the current file types DOCX, XLSX and PPTX.

SoftMaker Office Mobile comes with extensive editing and formatting functions that are compatible with Microsoft Office, including tracked changes, comments, footnotes and endnotes, as well as a 17-language spellchecker, helping to cover all the editing needs of a mobile worker. The spellchecker works as you type, signaling errors immediately. Documents can be stored either locally or in the cloud with access to Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote and OneDrive directly integrated into the apps. Other notable features include the export of Office files to PDF format and full support for Windows fonts.
