Hannover, 22 February 2013: Xilence, a specialist in power supplies and cooling and noise reduction solutions for PCs and notebooks, is about to launch two new PSU series to complement the high-end XQ series. The SQ series is aimed at demanding users, while the Office series will impress the professional sector with excellent value for money.
"We have invested a lot of effort in the fine tuning and are delighted that we will soon be able to launch two new series," says Bastian Fröhlig, PR Manager for Xilence. Details on their capacities and technical data are not being disclosed as yet. Yet the positioning of the new series in the Xilence range is clear. The power supply units of the XQ series (semi-passive cooling and fully modular) are at the top end of the range. They are followed by the SQ and Office series (both non-modular and with active cooling).
"We have incorporated some of our experience with the XQ series in the new models to provide customers with a quiet and efficient power supply at an attractive price/performance ratio," explains Fröhlig. The 80Plus platinum certification of the SQ power supply units confirms this claim. The Office power supply units are 80Plus bronze-certified.The power supply units are to go on sale before the end of the first quarter of 2013. Prices for the models of the SQ series are expected to be below EUR 100, and for the Office series even below EUR 50.
