PRESS RELEASE

London, 05 February 2016 – Sharp Information Systems Europe has announced a major refresh of its colour A3 MFP series, introducing three new advanced MFP models, built around the needs of SMBs. Offering an easy-to-use, customisable user interface, easy integration into existing IT systems and enabling optimised workflows, the MX-4070N, MX-3570N and MX-3070N are the first three models in the new MX Series and are available now across Europe in three different speed ranges (40ppm, 35ppm and 30ppm respectively).

Using smart technologies, such as Office Direct Print for MS Office files, and advanced cloud connectivity, the next generation MX colour-MFPs enable easy access to shared information and empowers mobile workforces with the freedom and flexibility to print from their preferred personal devices on the go.

Rachel Dean, European Product Business Manager, said: “The introduction of these advanced MFPs with innovative, value-added features, addresses the growing market demand for A3 colour models, and demonstrates Sharp’s commitment to tailoring solutionsbased on how, where and when businesses need information. Users will enjoy the benefits of enhanced connectivity, usability and energy efficiencies while the models will strengthen our product portfolio and raise our profile for advanced solution-centric devices”.

Feature

Benefit

Motion sensor

Sharp’s first MFP to use this technology, the devices automatically recover from sleep mode when the sensor detects an approaching user, saving time and increasing productivity with a device that is always ready to go

10.1-inch colour LCD touchscreen

The tiltable 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen with a simplified User Interface enables intuitive navigation of MFP functions, including easy access to the device manual, and simple ‘drag and drop’ user customisation

Print Release

This standard entry-level pull printing solution enables users to send documents to a main MFP, which stores a job for authentication and release from up to five networked MFPs without the need for a print server

Office Direct Print

Users are able to print Microsoft Office files (pptx, xlsx, docx) directly at the MFP via USB memory, ideal for workers off-site visiting customers, for example

OCR for scan to searchable PDF and scan to Office

Quickly convert scanned hard copy documents into searchable PDF files or Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Excel files that can be easily edited and stored

Auto-eject toner

Gives control back to IT Administrators, who are able to set the toner level at which the print cartridge ejects; minimising waste and increasing profit potential for dealers

Staple-free and manual staple finishing

Up to five sheets can be bound without staples, to reduce consumables. For added user convenience, a manual stapler provides convenient stapling, for example, the re-stapling of original documents that have been separated for copying
