Pomona, CA, April 29, 2015 - QNAP, Inc today unveiled an expansion of their rack-mounted Turbo NAS lineup with the addition of the TS-451U, a 1U rack-mount version of the highly awarded TS-x51 series; and the new TS-x53U series available in 4, 8, and 12-drive configurations with or without redundant power supplies. These new choices give SMB customers of all shapes and sizes a low entry-price point yet doesn’t skimp on connectivity or features; thus delivering an unparalleled value and room to grow with expansion options.

New Models- Deeper Dive
The TS-x53U rack-mounted series features a quad-core Intel® Celeron® processor running at 2.0Ghz for more processor-intensive applications. 4GB DDR3 SDRAM is pre-installed and is expandable to 8GB max. This series is available in 4, 8, and 12 drive-bay configurations for a max storage capacity of 72TB (12-bay model using 6TB HDDs). This series also features redundant power supply models for maximum reliability and uptime.
The TS-451U is a 1U, 4-drive rack-mount unit featuring a dual-core Intel Celeron processor running at 2.41Ghz. It comes with 1GB DDR3 SDRAM, which can be expanded to 8GB. If 6TB HDDs are used, the TS-451U can deliver up to 24TB of networked storage.
All the new models feature the QTS 4.1 embedded NAS management software, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD support, a full range of virtualized network connectivity options, Windows AD support, and storage expansion up to 192TB by adding the QNAP UX-1200U-RP storage expander, and much, much more.
