ROG Strix H270I Gaming is based on the Intel® H270 chipset and ROG Strix B250I Gaming is based on the Intel B250 chipset. Both motherboards support the latest 7th Generation Intel Core™ processors and technologies. With their innovative double-decker heatsink design and ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting, SupremeFX and the S1220A codec for exceptional audio, ultra-fast networking with Intel Gigabit LAN, dual onboard M.2 slots, and exclusive ROG innovations for stable, efficient operation and system protection, ROG Strix H270I Gaming and B250I Gaming offer powerful performance in a compact size to give gamers the edge against opponents.
Innovative design: Double-decker heatsink and ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting
ROG Strix H270I Gaming and B250I Gaming feature an innovative double-decker heatsink design that allows the M.2 SSD to be stacked atop of the PCH heatsink, maximizing board space and improving heat dissipation by up to 20°C for better stability and gaming performance.
ASUS Aura Sync RGB LED lighting technology with one onboard RGB header lets gamers create incredible lighting effects and synchronize them with compatible components, such as RGB LED strips, graphics cards and more.
Exceptional audio: SupremeFX, Sonic Studio III and Sonic Radar III
ROG Strix H270I Gaming and ROG Strix B250I Gaming feature the exclusive SupremeFX S1220A codec that delivers an exceptional 113dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) on the line-in connection for the best ever recording performance, and a 120dB SNR on the line-out to ensure crystal-clear sound. ROG engineers have also added Texas Instruments® RC 4580 and OPA1688 op-amps for incredibly high-gain, low-distortion sound that envelops the listener.
The Sonic Studio III software suite provides total control of system audio. Sonic Radar III lets gamers pinpoint enemy positions instantly in first-person shooters and features a new heads-up display with a three-dimensional in-game arrow.

ROG Strix H270I Gaming and ROG Strix B250I Gaming have a suite of protective features called Gamer’s Guardian, which includes SafeSlot, Q-LEDs, Digi+ voltage-regulator modules (VRMs), DRAM Overcurrent Protection and other Smart DIY features. SafeSlot is the PCIe® slot reinvented by ASUS and engineered to provide superior retention and shearing resistance. Q-LEDs provide quick and easy problem diagnosis by indicating where on the motherboard a problem is occurring. Digi+ VRMs improve power delivery to the CPU, and DRAM Overcurrent Protection helps extend motherboard life.
