AMD today introduces the Radeon Pro Software Enterprise Driver 16.Q4, specifically designed to combine the power of AMD’s professional graphics with the highly tailored needs of professional enterprise users. 

Building on AMD’s rapid iteration in the software space since last year’s release of Radeon Software Crimson Edition, enterprise users will benefit from rock-solid stability, exceptional performance and enhanced productivity features. 

With Radeon Pro Software Enterprise, AMD is also committing to a supercharged quarterly update cadence and white-glove engineering support, particularly crucial for enterprise users where billions of dollars, mission-critical infrastructure and supreme design work are often all at stake.

Addressing enterprise needs:

  • Radeon Pro Software Enterprise drivers will deliver predictable software release dates, committing to quarterly updates on the fourth Thursday of each quarter, starting today. Future releases are planned for January 26, April 27, July 27 and October 26, 2017.
  • Radeon Pro Software Enterprise Drivers also come with Prioritized Support, meaning AMD’s goal is to work with customers, ISVs, and OEMs to provide prioritized engineering support.

  • The Radeon Pro Software Enterprise Driver 16.Q4 has been rigorously tested to help ensure rock-solid reliability.
  • Radeon Pro Software is certified in over 100 workstation applications covering the leading software professionals use, including Autodesk AutoCAD, Dassault CATIA, Siemens NX, Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Maya and many more. 

Exceptional performance:

  • Users will benefit from faster performance in PTC Creo, Siemens NX, and Dassault CATIA when you compare the 16.Q4 Enterprise Driver with last year’s AMD FirePro 14.502.1019 Driver*.
  • In testing against the Nvidia Quadro M2000, the AMD FirePro W5100 delivers up to 27 per cent more productivity per dollar when using the Radeon Pro Software Enterprise Driver 16.Q4 **.

Enhanced productivity features:

  • Support for AMD's pioneering virtual reality LiquidVR technology exploits the capabilities of AMD graphics, and enables professional VR workflows on Radeon VR Ready Creator graphics cards.
  • With DirectX 12 and Vulkan support, the Radeon Pro Software Enterprise Driver 16.Q4 may be used for the coming real-time game engine professional workflow revolution.
