At 345,000 gamers strong, Gamescom is the world’s largest gaming show making it the perfect back drop to talk about what NVIDIA and a few of our friends in game development have coming up. At a pre-Gamescom press event, we made a flurry of announcements that are summarized below.

Eight Million-Plus Gamers Can Now Automatically Record Amazing Moments Using New GeForce Experience ShadowPlay Highlights

Starting today, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PC gamers can capture and share their best gaming moments using NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights. The tool automatically captures the player’s greatest achievements in video and screenshots, and enables seamless sharing through Facebook, YouTube or Imgur. We’re also announcing that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has also integrated other advanced PC features from NVIDIA.

Final Fantasy XV coming to PC with a Bevy of GeForce Experience Features and GameWorks Tech

Second, we announced that we are helping Square Enix bring Final Fantasy XV to PC. The PC version will support two GeForce Experience features; Ansel and ShadowPlay Highlights. It will also be loaded with GameWorks tech, including NVIDIA Flow, NVIDIA HairWorks, NVIDIA ShadowWorks, NVIDIA Turf Effects and NVIDIA VXAO.

Next steps for NVIDIA, Activision and Bungie – Destiny 2 gets HDR, a new bundle and a GeForce Reward

We announced the next step in our collaboration with Bungie and Activision around Destiny 2, to add HDR (high dynamic range lighting) and SLI support to the PC version of the game. We also launched a new GeForce GTX Destiny 2 Bundle and we will be giving Early Access to the Destiny 2 PC BETA to select GeForce Experience users.

When gamers purchase a select GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or GeForce GTX 1080-based graphics card, PC or laptop, they will receive Destiny 2 at PC Launch. The bundle runs from August 21 - September 5. This bundle includes special in-game items, including the Coldhart Exotic Rifle, Kill Tracker Ghost, and the Salute emote.

NVIDIA, Monolith and Warner Bros. Team Up for Middle-earth: Shadow of War PC – Ansel and HDR Coming!

NVIDIA, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions, today announced they are collaborating on the PC version of Middle-earth: Shadow of War. It will feature NVIDIA Ansel, an in-game photography tool, that is part of GeForce Experience. NVIDIA is working with Monolith to add other advanced PC features, such as HDR, which creates a wider range of brightness, making the game more lifelike and immersive.

PES 2018 Gets Ansel!

We announced that we are working with Konami to add the GeForce Experience feature Ansel to Pro Evolution Soccer 2018PES 2018 is the first sports game to support Ansel.

GeForce Experience keeps getting better!

GeForce Experience is bringing exciting, new ways for gamers to customize, capture, and share their experiences;

  • AI Style Transfer – we are using artificial intelligence with Ansel to allow gamers to automatically transfer the style of their favorite artist to their game shots
  • New Facebook Live enhancements -- GeForce Experience now broadcasts to Facebook Groups and shows Facebook comments as part of the broadcaster’s overlay
  • Two new games supporting ShadowPlay Highlights: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Final Fantasy XV
  • Three new games supporting NVIDIA Ansel: Pro Evolution Soccer 2018Final Fantasy XV and Middle Earth: Shadow of War
