Can you feel the chill in the air and the nights beginning to close in? Autumn is coming. That usually spells good news for the gaming industry as people cosy up to consoles and PCs.

There's no shortage of choice when it comes to picking a fistful of quality games to play this winter. After a quick visit to Gamescom earlier this week, titles such as Destiny, Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed Unity. FIFA 15, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Forza Horizon 2, The Crew, and The Evil Within piqued our interest.

What about you, which games are you looking forward to playing in the near future, and is there any that you wish would just hurry up and be available this year rather than next? Let us know in the comments facility below.

AC Unity for me. I'm excited because it seems like the developers this time want people to be awed like when the first Assassin's Creed was released and to me this feels exactly like that. Seeing the commented gameplay on Gamescom also has me more and more intrigued.

While the game still doesn't have any difficulty settings, Alex Amancio (the Creative Director) claims that this time combat will be much more difficult which is very important because ever since AC2, combat has gotten so easy it's practically boring. Also, with the addition of stealth mode, and multiple ways to kill the target (plus side mission to open other chances), assassinations should be more interesting than just chasing or shooting the target from afar.
AC Unity, although I'm still not sure this will be “the one”. It's had a lot of pressure, XBox One has still got problems until all its updates kick in and the resources are fully freed up, and it's the first to attempt a lot of new systems. I'm really looking forward to playing it, but at the same time I think the one after this one is going to be the true new gen AC, and it will inherit everything that this one gets right.
Project cars, ut4, far cry 4 though my graphics upgrade is coming in the morning chagin from a 1 460 gtx super overclocked to 2x MSI AMD R9 290X GAMING Graphics Card (4GB, DDR5, PCI-E)

Looking forward to some games that have struggled running super smooth :D
Metal Gear Solid V. Especially now that it's confirmed for Steam.
Witcher 3. Far Cry 4. Half Life 3. Dragon Age: Inquisition. Maybe UT4. The much needed next installment of Fallout.
