Windows gaming has taken center stage today as Microsoft Corp. hosts the Games for Windows Presents: The Big Picture showcase event, highlighting some of the most anticipated Microsoft Games for Windows titles of 2008, while also announcing new additions to the portfolio.

From the Dogpatch studios in San Francisco, Microsoft has showcased a range of titles from its Games For Windows platform, including Ghostbusters, Call of Duty World At War, Bionic Commando, Space Siege, Civilization IV Colonization and Devil May Cry 4.

Microsoft also revealed a number of new additions for the Games for Windows platform, including Mafia 2, Red Faction and Dawn of War 2.
