You've had your say on the best games console, so now let's revisit another popular topic: which is the best gaming peripheral of all time?

We've had plenty of gems throughout the years and no shortage of variety. Keyboards, mice, joypads, flightsticks, steering wheels, and virtual reality headsets have all attempted to bring us deeper into 3D worlds, but which one stands out as the best of the best. I am sure I have answered this one before, but my favourite is the light gun that came with the original NES for use on the duck Hunt/Mario cartridge. I always wanted to shoot that dog whenever I missed the ducks though, his goading was infuriating as a child haha!!
Easy one:

PC Engine Multitap with Bomberman…
…or the Amiga equivalent: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=934 with “Dynablasters” (i.e. Bomberman)

4 player Bomberman with everyone sat close enough so that you can sabotage each other.
I've still got a Steel Battalion controller in my loft - absolutely amazing bit of kit. Useless outside of Steel Battalion but brilliant none-the-less.
I think my fav so far is the Logitech G400s mouse. It's the best mouse I've had, but probably the first Logitech.
Logitech MX518. Can't remember when I bought it (2005?) but still going strong and I've never felt the need to replace it.
