We've been hearing a lot about AMD's FX-Series CPUs, but what about Intel's Sandy Bridge-E family?
Word has it that the mid-November launch timeframe still stands, with the exact date flitting between November 14th and November 15th. As for Intel's liquid cooling solution, which we reported on during IDF, it's claimed that this will price in at around $100 US Dollars, whilst Intel's air cooling offering will apparently cost around $25 to $30 US Dollars.
As for the CPUs themselves, further rumours suggest that the 3.6GHz 4-core (8-thread) i7-3820, is heading for the $294 US Dollars range.
The 3.2GHz 6-core (12-thread) i7-3930K should shimmy in at $583 US Dollars and, as you'd expect, the flagship 3.3GHz 6-core (12-thread) i7-3960X is expected at $999 US Dollars.
All in all, these pricing claims mirror suggestions from mid-August, alluding to the same possible price points.
