O2 launches innovative code-breaking competition only for the tech-savvy

  • Customers must crack a code hidden within an O2 poster to claim a free OnePlus 3 before 21 October 
  • The poster will be positioned opposite the Ace Hotel
  • The OnePlus 3 is available exclusively at O2 on a range of tariffs

From today, O2 customers have four days to crack codes hidden in a poster to be in with a chance of winning a OnePlus 3 handset.

The tricky formula will first be displayed on a O2 billboard opposite the Ace Hotel in London’s Shoreditch. The first person to crack the code every day will win a brand new OnePlus 3. 

Once broken, the code will detail a secret location and password for players to claim their free device. Each day these will change, to see who has what it takes to decipher the new location and password in a challenge of wit and speed.

The giveaway follows the recent launch of the new OnePlus 3 handset, which is available exclusively at O2 on a range of tariffs. 

Available on the network’s renowned Refresh tariff, this is a smartphone built together with tech enthusiasts, hand-in-hand with users. The OnePlus 3 is born from amazing technology, design and innovation. The OnePlus 3 is available on a range of O2 Refresh tariffs, offering from 500MB to 20GB data. Tariffs include £28 per month for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, and £35.50 per month for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 3GB data. Both tariffs come with no upfront payment.
