Customers to be rewarded with up to £200/€240 when they trade in their old digital camera
1 April 2014, London, UK - Samsung Electronics has today announced a major trade-up promotion across selected models of its Smart camera and NX lenses range. Running from 1st April to 31st August 2014 at participating retailers both in-store and online, anyone that purchases a new Samsung camera or lens included within the promotion and trades in their old digital camera (in working condition) will be eligible to claim up to £200/€240. The full list of Samsung cameras and lenses included in this promotion, and the relevant cashback amount, is set out in the table below.
To claim the reward, all people need to do is buy a qualifying Samsung camera or lens* from an eligible retailer, either in-store or online, and fill out an online claim form on Samsung.com within 14 days of making the purchase. They will then receive a pre-paid postage label within two days via email. Customers in the Republic of Ireland will be emailed the freepost address to send back their camera. Once this has arrived, they must simply pack and return their old digital camera (in working condition) within 30 days of purchase. Qualifying claims will then be fulfilled via direct bank transfer.
Models available in the trade-up promotion include; the new NX Mini, perfect for the style conscious thanks to its ultra-slim and portable design; the Galaxy Camera 2, which boasts a huge 4.8" HD Super Clear LCD display, great for both taking and viewing photos; and the stylish WB350F, which has a 21x optical zoom lens and advanced Wi-Fi capabilities, making it even easier to share photos anywhere.
For budding photographers who decide to trade-up to a Samsung NX camera, the NX device comes equipped with Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom software, so they can easily organise and edit all their photos.
