PRESS RELEASE

The JBL Reflect Aware in-ear headphone brings customer centric design in combination with innovative features that fit an active lifestyle. The adaptive noise cancelling features of the JBL Reflect Aware can be easily adjusted with My JBL Headphones app, depending on the consumer’s need to be able to close off or being aware of their surroundings. Thanks to use of the Lightning port of your mobile device, no battery is required to power this feature, and the digital audio quality is being converted without audio loss thanks to the built-in DAC.

Lightweight, affordable, adaptive active noise cancellation headphones…and it all works without a battery! Now users of the 900 million Lightning devices in the world can benefit from the unique advantages that a direct digital connection to headphones like the JBL Reflect Aware offers:

  • Digital audio

By taking digital audio signal out of the device and straight into the headphones, users can benefit from legendary JBL sound quality thanks to loss-less audio conversion from the headphones’ dedicated DAC.

  • Direct power

A Lightning connection can supply headphones with power directly, removing the need for an on-board battery in the headphones. This allows headphones like the JBL Reflect Aware to provide features such as active noise cancellation whilst remaining lightweight, portable and perfect for everyday listening or exercising.

  • Improved control

A digital connection between the headphones and phone allows for much more detailed communication and control between the two. The adaptive noise cancelling features of the JBL Reflect Aware can easily be adjusted with My JBL Headphones app, depending on the user’s need to close off or be aware of their surroundings.

As one of the newest members to the JBL Reflect line of sport headphones, the Aware headphone is designed to withstand the most intense workout as a piece of sport equipment, with a rugged, sweat-proof design and patented ergonomic ear-tips for hours of comfortable wear with exceptional stability and comfort not to mention powerful sound you expect from JBL.
