LOS ANGELES, Calif. Nov. 20, 2015 Torque Audio, creator of the interchangeable TorqueValve, announces the availability of the highly anticipated t402v, a modular pair of headphones that customizes the bass level of any song directly through its sound pads. By eliminating the need to manipulate bass through an equalizer, listeners can tune the low frequencies to their preferences, and avoid disrupting the higher frequencies in a song.
Adjusting any level, especially bass, with an audio players built-in equalizer decreases dynamic range and adds distortion. This has always been a concern for me, especially when switching between various genres, said Yasu Yamamoto, Co-founder of Torque Audio. As a result, the t402v was created to quickly boost bass levels, while maintaining clear sound quality and avoiding interference with other frequency levels.
By simply rotating the magnetic padsthateach have four adjustable levels, users can hear hard hitting bass or a softer sound that properly matches the tunes theyre currently playing. The two sets of included pads offer on-ear mobility or over-ear performance, resulting in eight ways to rock from one pair of stylish headphones.
