PRESS RELEASE

Zurich, CH.  The Swiss company Modul 9 announced the release of their latest amplifier board last week.

The HiFiBerry Amp+ was specifically designed to boost the sound quality of the Raspberry Pi A+/B+ and is the ideal enabler of private or professional Raspberry Pi Multiroom-Audio-Solutions. Thanks to its smart design, the board consumes very little space and can be directly plugged onto the Raspberry Pi A+/B+.

Contrary to other amplifier boards, there is no additional digital-to-analog converter or power supply needed. The digital-to-analog converter is already included and the board and the Raspberry Pi shares a single 12-18V power supply. The board delivers a great sound experience and can be directly connected to a pair of 4Ohm speakers.  It comes with up to 25W output power as well as 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates.
