With Texas Instruments DLP digital high-definition imaging technology, the PJD 6 series presents a 90" widescreen within 1 metres distance (90" for the PJD6683w) that is satisfies all the projection demands in the classroom and educational workplace. Thoughtful built-in functions for multimedia presentations help the PJD6 series greatly enhance the quality of teaching with proud colour performance and excellent energy-efficient power solutions. ViewSonic's PJD 6 series is the best projector for teaching and learning in the newly realized digital age.

We observe and stimulate the teaching scenario, the interaction, and extent of involvement between speaker and audiences to further ensure our projectors can fully satisfy the development of knowledge with its innovative functions, such as the short show ability, network monitoring and management capability, the DynamicEcoTM design saving mode to save up to 70% energy and enhancing the contrast ratio up to 8,000:1. With a high dynamic contrast and other considerable functions, ViewSonic's projectors present you with an excellent visual performance.

Adopting a short throw lenses, the new PJD6 education projectors allows users to create big pictures in tight spaces that help to engage every student in the room with well displayed lessons on the big screen. In addition to short throw lens benefits, the PJD6 series is also easy to set up and have high connectivity compatibility to cater to diverse classroom set ups. The PJD6383, PJD6683w are XGA and WXGA native resolution models and both offer 3000 lumens of brightness suitable for medium and large classroom projection. The PJD6353 supports a XGA resolution and 2500 lumens which offers flexibility and can be used in small space. The PJD6 projectors are also equipped with "Dynamic PC" and "Dynamic Movie" modes which allow brilliant projections and automatically adjust to eliminate shadows obstructing the image or light shining in the classrooms. In addition, the PJD 6 comes with a presentation timer which assists teachers while projecting a countdown of the remaining time on the screen.

Designed with the concept of remote teaching and learning in mind, the new PJD6 series has the AMX and Crestron Network support. With the embedded e-control, users can remotely monitor and control one projector. In addition, the network monitoring and management software that enable remotely manage up to 250 networked projectors through RJ45 connectivity. With real-time monitoring and control the PJD6 facilitates convenient scheduling of events and programmed e-mail alerts regarding projector status.

Moreover, the PJD 6 series supports rich connectivity. The HDMI input interface supports connectivity between a computer and other video equipment that can project the multimedia, animation, video, images or music perfectly. The built-in 10 watts of power amplifying audio also ensure the presentation or teaching can be clearly heard by each audience member even in the environment without audio support.

The PJD6353 (RRP £469/€599 excluding VAT), PJD6383 (RRP £499/€649 excluding VAT) and PJD6683w (RRP £549/€699 excluding VAT) will be available in Europe the beginning of June 2012.

AMX and Crestron RoomView® network control

ViewSonic's PJD6 series features AMX and Crestron RoomView® network management software. With the embedded e-control, users can remotely monitor and control one projector. The Crestron RoomView® ,which enables centralized control for up to 250 projectors, provides an advanced, real-time alert system that sends status updates regarding power, lamp life, and unit presence to simplify maintenance efforts. It can also automate device scheduling such as powering on/off, and broadcasting urgent messages via closed captioning. With smart network management you'll be able to save time, money, and maintenance effort making it an incredibly efficient tool for education.

70% energy savings with DynamicEcoTM design

Give great presentations while saving money and being eco-friendly. ViewSonic's exclusive DynamicEcoTM design reduces projector brightness to 30% of normal luminosity and extends lamp life while lowering energy consumption by up to 70%. DynamicEcoTM design will automatically kick in when no signal is present, or can be manually enabled through a D.Eco button on the remote. It reduces fan noise to eliminate distractions and with a quiet room and dim lit screen, you'll have the audience's undivided attention.

Dynamic PC and Dynamic Movie modes for amazing contrast

The projector features Dynamic Movie and Dynamic PC modes to automatically detect and adjust the power consumption of the lamp according to the brightness of the image being projected. These two features can enhance overall dynamic contrast ratio up to 50% to deliver clear details in dark image for the most vivid and realistic experience possible. Dynamic Movie and Dynamic PC also efficiently save approximately 30% power and help to reduce cost by automatically adjusting the lamp brightness.

Built in 10W stereo speakers to deliver a clear surround sound experience

ViewSonic's PJD6 projectors come standard with a two 10W speakers which provides high volume audio for meeting rooms and replaces the need for external speakers. The 10W combined speaker power can fill the classroom with enough volume so attendants in the furthest corners of the room can hear it, ultimately increasing the audience's attention and engagement. In addition, the PJD 6 comes with a Presentation Timer which assists teachers while projecting a countdown of the remaining time on the screen.
