We hope all our readers have had a wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends and happiness. Now that the dust has settled, and before we have to go through the rigmarole of taking down the lights and decorations, let's get the gossip out of the way by sharing: what did you get for Christmas?

I managed Call of Duty: World War II on Xbox from the wife, my mother-in-law tracked down a pair of hiking boots I've wanted for a while, and I also treated myself to a second viewing of The Last Jedi. Good stuff all round, so how about you? Let us know which prezzies made you smile using the comments facility below.

Other than a few bits and some money from the mum-in-law, who refuses to do as I ask, I got precisely what I wanted, asked for and expected, which was absolutely nothing.
Transmission Oil for my Land Rover
Oh & a good bottle of Whisky :)
Boxers shorts and …. socks. Which is all I ever want nowadays. Unless of course someone in my family becomes filthy rich, then I might also ask for a new lawnmower. Simple things.
