Mionix secures new investment

Vaxjo, Sweden -16th April 2012 - Mionix the global High-End gaming peripherals company based in Växjö, Sweden, secures capital for continued expansion. The Swedish venture capital company Almi Invest, together with investors Hampus Jakobsson, co-founder of TAT, Magnus Kenneby, co-founder of Sequent Invest & BioLamina and Carl Silbersky, former CEO of Polar Rose, invests four million SEK in Mionix. Company founder and CEO, Peter Nygren, will continue to be the majority shareholder.
 
Mionix designs, develops and sells computer peripherals that are suited for gamers. The product portfolio consists of mice, keyboards, headsets and mouse pads. Today there are six people in the fast-growing company and expect a sharp increase in sales in 2012.
 
"Our investment makes it possible for the company to increase in sales and to grow, internationally," says Maria Kristiansson, Investment Manager at Almi Invest.
