Don't be fooled by the Vanquish Prodigy's size. With an i5-3570K processor overclocked to 4.4GHz, it's suitably fast.
The Multi-core CPU performance on offer from the quad-core chip is strong, with PC Specialist's overclock allowing the chip to perform at a level close to a stock-clocked Core i7-3770K.
Take a fast CPU, attach 16GB of quick memory and a solid-state drive and you have the recipe for an ultra-responsive machine. PCMark 7 provides a good indication of everyday performance, and the Vanquish Prodigy accordingly feels quick during everyday use. Windows 8 boots in under 20 seconds, and programs load in a blink of the eye.
