I know of very few people who don't own a mobile phone. It's about as personal as technology gets. From checking status updates in the morning to idly browsing the web in the evening, it's no exaggeration to say mobile phones have a significant impact upon our everyday lives.

So choosing the right phone for you is, actually, an important decision. Some browse via specification, some go for the look and feel, and others simply upgrade to the latest iteration of a particular handset they've had for a while.

I've changed brands, operating systems and form factors over the years with little heed for brand loyalty. I'm happy enough with a Nokia Lumia 930 - yup, one of few Windows Phone users - and will only upgrade once the handset gives up the ghost: it remains good enough for my uses.

But what about you? Which handset(s) do you have an eye on for your next upgrade? Is it a case of more of the same or are you willing to jump operating-system ship and try something new. In a nutshell, which phone will you get next?

Not had a mobile since 2012 for security reasons and to be honest I'm happier without it. If I were to get another it'd be one of the motorola modular phones that have been delayed, being modular means they are less of a security risk after some careful mods.
I've only had the current one since 2007, so I'm not ready for an upgrade yet.

When I do, it'll almost certainly be more of the same, or as close to it as is still available, unless someone manages to convince me I need a smartphone, ‘cos every time I get tempted and look into it, I end up reinforcing the reasons why I still don’t have one.

If something goes on the market that does what I want AND, critically, has pretty much bullet-proof security and privacy features, I'm interested. I'm not holding my breath.
Currently own an S4, wanted an S6 but when I saw the specs I started to hesitate. Looking at the ridiculous UK market prices, I think I am going to wait for Xiaomi Mi 5.
ps. OnePlus2 is **** with its under-clocked 810.
I'm probably getting the Marshall London.

I bought a Galaxy S6, returned it and exchanged it for an S5 instead.
