We are expecting Google to launch several new devices at its special event in San Francisco tomorrow evening. Probably the most eagerly awaited news regards its new smartphone lineup. Last week we saw some crisp and clear photos of the new Google Pixel smartphone, and the 4K Google Chromecast Ultra, but today we have much more information and pictures concerning both the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, thanks to a spill by the UK's Carphone Warehouse (CPW).
A few hours ago CPW, seemingly by accident, made its Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone pages live. The links are now dead but luckily some sites, such as Android Police, took screenshots of the pages. In addition there's a full archive of the Google Pixel XL page preserved here.
The CPW website screenshots show that the dedicated Pixel (XL) smartphone pages were heavy on promoting new Google smartphone feature 'selling points'. Thus it showcases the Pixel phones in use with new apps like Google Allo chat, Google Photos (with full resolution pic storage), Google Assistant, Google Duo video calling, and with Google Live Case protective bumpers.

Other key features revealed include; the ability to charge the phones to provide 7 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, thanks to the USB Type-C fast-charging ability. These smartphones require a nano-SIM. CPW reckons that the above new smartphones will pack a microSD card slot but it often makes this error in its listings for some reason.
If you want more information and pictures about the new Google Pixel phones, Canadian telco Bell also accidentally published some dedicated product pages showing off Pixel phones in both black and white livery.
